Mr. Boston Leather 2010 contest weekend

Ramrod Boston will be hosting the largest celebration of the leather community in New England over the September 18-19th, 2009 weekend. On Friday, September 18th, Ramrod will host “The Gathering.” Local leather clubs and community members will come out for a social evening to celebrate our leather community and kick off the start of our Mr. Boston Leather 2010 contest weekend. The Mr. Boston Leather judging panel will be introduced and this year’s contestants will be brought on stage to draw their contestant numbers. A reception will follow to allow guests to Meet & Greet the contestants. The contest will be held the following day (Saturday, September 19) at 9:00pm. Tim Starkey will be stepping aside as the current Mr. Boston Leather and serve as the head judge. The final judging panel and event staff will be announced at www.Ramrod-Boston.com as soon as it becomes available. The contest consists of four judging categories: Individual interviews (conducted earlier in the day on Saturday), leather image, physique, and public speaking. William Shields will be MC for the contest and their will be special entertainment during the intermission of the contest. The winner of the Mr. Boston Leather contest will receive a leather sash to wear during his title year. He will represent the region at the 32nd annual International Mr. Leather contest in Chicago in May 2010. Ramrod, as the corporate sponsor of the Mr. Boston Leather contest, will provide funds for airfare and lodging.
