The Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission or TABC has fired three employees associated with the raid on the Rainbow Lounge in June. Several individuals had been arrested during raids on three TABC licensed businesses, and one of the patrons of the Rainbow Lounge was badly injured while in custody. Shortly after the raid on the Rainbow Lounge, Administrator Alan Steen ordered an internal investigation. The recently released findings of the internal investigation into the raid on the Rainbow Lounge found numerous problems.

Agent Trainee Jason Chapman, Agent Christopher Aller, and Sgt. Terry Parsons dismissed from service due to violations of department policy. Agent Trainee Jason Chapman does not have a right to file an appeal regarding his dismissal because he is still within his probation period. The other two can file appeals regarding the dismissal. Agent Trainee Chapman and Agent Aller were both placed on desk duty after the raid, and Sgt. Parsons announces intent to retire effective as of 2 September. Sgt. Parsons has been using his accumulated leave since the investigation began.

Additionally, Fort Worth District Lt. Gene Anderson was given three days unpaid leave and six months probation for inadequate monitoring of a trainee. Captain Robert “Charlie” Cloud was given a written reprimand for not filing a proper incident report, and failing to adequately monitor the training of a recruit. Chief Joel Moreno issued a statement regarding Lieut. Anderson and Capt. Cloud: “I have the full confidence that Lt. Anderson and Captain Cloud be successful in implementing change and improving the service they provide to their communities. The first step is by working more closely with their employees, mentoring them and serving as positive role models by exemplifying the agency’s four cornerstones: service, courtesy, integrity, and accountability. It is essential that every employee understands our core value: We do the right thing, not what we have the right to do.”
